The BMW Group Media & Stakeholder Days
The scale of the project was particularly evident on the first day of the event. Dedicated customer journeys were orchestrated in parallel for the various visitor and stakeholder groups - from a high-profile press event with 500 guests from business, politics, society and the media as well as 4,000 employees to the precisely timed arrival and departure of almost 100 shuttle buses for the employee shows.
Three days, eight shows and over 30,000 guests
A particular challenge was the logistical planning of a venue that was not originally designed for an event of this size. The aim was to create a consistent experience across all eight shows - with precise timing, coordinated processes and seamlessly interlocking trades.
By people, for people
The focus was not only on international media guests, but above all on BMW employees. The event was an expression of appreciation, emotion and team spirit. The new BMW i3 was the result of joint work - from the plant to the research and development center. This sense of community was palpable during the shows.
Between major event and press event
METZLER VATER was responsible for the entire operations and thus created the basis for a smooth process behind the scenes. From catering and transportation to hostesses, security and cleaning to all print productions, all trades interlocked precisely.
