#Privacy.

Dear visitors to our website,

We are pleased about your visit to our website. Below we would like to inform you about the handling of your data in accordance with Art. 13 of the General Data Protection Ordinance (GDPR).

Person in charge

Responsible for the following data collection and processing is the office named in the imprint.

Storage of the IP address

We store the IP address transmitted by your web browser for a strictly limited period of seven days in order to be able to detect, limit and eliminate attacks on our web pages. After this period has expired, we delete or anonymise the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

Usage data

When you visit our web pages, so-called usage data is temporarily stored on our web server for statistical purposes as a protocol in order to improve the quality of our web pages. This record consists of

  1. the page from which the file was requested,
  2. the name of the file,
  3. the date and time of the query,
  4. the amount of data transferred,
  5. the access status (file transferred, file not found),
  6. the description of the type of web browser used,
  7. the IP address of the requesting computer, which is shortened in such a way that a personal reference can no longer be established.

The mentioned protocol data will only be stored anonymously.

Processors

We transfer your data within the framework of order processing in accordance with article 28 DSGVO to service providers who support us in the operation of our websites and the associated processes. Our service providers are strictly bound by instructions and contractually bound to us accordingly. We use the following service providers:

  1. Web hosting: Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. LIMITED PARTNERSHIP
  2. Web analytics: Google Analytics

In this context, we partially transfer personal data to third countries outside the EU. In doing so, we have always ensured an appropriate level of data protection:

In the case of Google Analytics (USA), an appropriate level of data protection follows from the corresponding participation in the Privacy Shield Agreement (Art. 45 Para. 1 GDPR).

Cookies

We use cookies on our websites. Cookies are small text files that can be stored and read on your terminal device. A distinction is made between session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and permanent cookies, which are stored beyond the individual session. Cookies can contain data that make it possible to recognize the device used. In some cases, however, cookies only contain information on certain settings that cannot be related to persons.

We use session cookies on our websites. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR and in the interest of optimising or enabling user guidance and adapting the presentation of our website.

You can set your browser in such a way that you are informed about the placement of cookies. This makes the use of cookies transparent for you. You can also delete cookies at any time via the corresponding browser setting and prevent the setting of new cookies. Please note that our web pages may then not be optimally displayed and some functions may no longer be technically available.

Google Analytics

In order to tailor our websites to meet your needs, we create pseudonymous user profiles with the help of Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies which are stored on your end device and can be read by us. This enables us to recognise returning visitors and count them as such. Data processing takes place on the basis of your consent in accordance with article 6 paragraph 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will generally be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. However, because we have enabled IP anonymisation on our websites, your IP address will first be abbreviated by Google within Member States of the European Union. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA (an adequate level of data protection exists according to Art. 45 para. 1 DSGVO through Google's participation in the Privacy Shield) and only abbreviated in the USA. We have concluded a contract with Google Inc. (USA) for order processing pursuant to Art. 28 DSGVO. Google will therefore only use all information strictly for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website and compiling reports on website activity.

You can revoke the processing at any time. Please use one of the following options:

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

Furthermore, you can prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en).

You can also prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by clicking on the following link. An Opt-Out-Cookie is set, which permanently prevents the future collection of your data when visiting these web pages:

Data security

In order to protect your data from unauthorised access as comprehensively as possible, we take technical and organisational measures. We use an encryption procedure on our pages. Your information is transferred from your computer to our server and vice versa via the Internet using TLS encryption. You can recognize this by the lock symbol in the status bar of your browser being closed and the address bar beginning with https:// .

Your rights as a user

When processing your personal data, the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO) grants you certain rights as a website user:

1. Right of information (Art. 15 GDPR):

You have the right to request confirmation as to whether personal data relating to you are being processed; if this is the case, you have the right to access this personal data and the information specified in Art. 15 GDPR.

2. Right to rectification and cancellation (Art. 16 and 17 GDPR):

You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate personal data concerning you without delay and, if necessary, the completion of any incomplete personal data.

You also have the right to demand that personal data relating to you be deleted immediately if one of the reasons listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued.

3. Right to limitation of processing (Art. 18 GDPR):

You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR is met, e.g. if you have filed an objection against the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR or for the duration of any examination whether our legitimate interests outweigh your interests as a data subject.

4. Right to data transferability (Art. 20 GDPR):

In certain cases, which are listed in detail in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer of this data to a third party.

5. Right of objection (Art. 21 GDPR):

If data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR (data processing to safeguard legitimate interests), you have the right to object to the processing at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. We will then no longer process the personal data unless there are demonstrably compelling grounds for processing worthy of protection which outweigh your interests, rights and liberties, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

6. Right of appeal to a supervisory authority

According to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if you are of the opinion that the processing of the data concerning you violates data protection provisions. The right of appeal may, in particular, be exercised before a supervisory authority in the Member State in which you are staying, at your place of work or at the place where the alleged infringement was committed.
